Ioan Gruffudd is a Welsh actor. His roles include the films Titanic, 102 Dalmatians, King Arthur (2004), Fantastic Four, Amazing Grace (2006), W. (2008), Fireflies in the Garden, and San Andreas, and television’s Hornblower films and series Ringer, Forever, and Harrow.
He is the son of Gillian (James) and Peter Gruffudd. He is married to actress Alice Evans, with whom he has two children. His name, Ioan Gruffudd, is the Welsh language version of John Griffith. Ioan himself is fluent in Welsh.
